Millers Smorgasbord is seeking a highly organized and meticulous Food & Beverage Administrator to support our food and beverage operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate ordering, inventory control, scheduling, and administrative coordination to support smooth daily operations in a fast‑paced hospitality environment. This full‑time position must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as required due to business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Place food, beverage, and supply orders with approved vendors.
- Generate and manage purchase orders accurately and on time.
- Receive, review, and process vendor invoices for accuracy.
- Enter, review, and process waste and inter‑company transfers.
- Conduct monthly food and beverage inventory counts.
- Enter inventory counts into designated systems and maintain accurate records.
- Write, update, and publish employee schedules in accordance with business needs.
- Communicate schedule changes clearly and professionally to staff.
- Maintain organized digital and physical records related to purchasing, inventory, and scheduling.
- Assist with reports related to inventory, costs, and labor as needed.
- Assist with entering and maintaining recipes.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned by management.
- Previous administrative, inventory, or food and beverage experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with scheduling software, inventory systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) or similar tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Effective communication and people skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Office‑based with time spent in food and beverage storage areas for inventory counts.
- Requires occasional lifting and standing during inventory processes.
