Trade Marketing Manager - Qatar
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Trade Marketing Manager to support the execution of trade marketing strategies in Bahrain & Qatar, that drive brand visibility, customer engagement, and sales across retail channels.
Description:- Support in Campaign Execution:
Assist in implementing trade marketing campaigns and in-store activities across various retail and distribution channels.
- Point of Sale (POS) Materials:
Coordinate the production, delivery, and placement of POS materials and ensure proper branding across outlets.
- Retail Audits & Visibility Checks:
Conduct store visits to ensure planogram compliance, visibility of promotional materials, and execution of trade activities.
- Promotions & Activations:
Assist in organizing and tracking promotional campaigns and in-store activations to drive footfall and conversion.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
Gather data from trade promotions and assist in preparing performance reports (e.g., ROI, sales uplift, market feedback).
- Collaboration:
Work closely with sales, brand, and logistics teams to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with business objectives.
- Budget Tracking:
Support in tracking and monitoring marketing spend vs budget for trade initiatives.
- Market Insights:
Help collect and compile competitor and category insights from the market.
- Shopper marketing :
Understanding shopper marketing events for tier 1 & tier 2 & working closely with customers.
- Forecasting :
Assist in building up yearly forecast by channel / category.
- D&A
Managing D&A along with customers / tracking it by account with ROI / enhancing marketing support with marketing managers.
- Financial background
Supporting finance team on building new VC, new SKU’s / category / working with customers accounts team on getting better ROI.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS Academic and professional qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in business administration from a reputed University; specialization in Marketing / Sales Management preferred
- 7+ years of experience in consumer products / packaged goods sector / Frozen Products .
- Business knowledge in the Lower gulf ( Qatar – Bahrain )
- Experience in Trade Marketing / Category Management is required 4+ years
- 3+ years of experience in KA’s – FS – Traditional Trade
- 5+ Years of Experience managing P&L with different brands .
- 4+ years of GCC ( Qatar & Bahrain ) with different brands B2B & B2C
- 3+ Years of Key accounts experience National Accounts / Tier 2 & Tier 3
