Laundry Valet​/Pressman

Key Responsibilities

Garment Care & Pressing

Press guest garments using steam press, hand iron, and finishing equipment.

Identify fabric types and apply correct temperature and pressing techniques.

Ensure garments are returned wrinkle-free, stain-free, and properly folded or hung.

Laundry Operations

Sort laundry items according to fabric type, color, and treatment requirements.

Inspect items for stains or damage before and after processing.

Report damaged garments or irregularities immediately to the supervisor.

Tag, track, and ensure accurate delivery of guest laundry.

Quality & Service

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the laundry area.

Ensure timely processing and delivery in accordance with service standards.

Handle guest items with care, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Support linen pressing and finishing when required.

Previous experience as a Laundry Valet, Pressman, or similar role in a hotel environment preferred.

Knowledge of:

• Fabric types and garment handling
• Steam pressing and ironing techniques
• Stain removal methods

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Basic English communication skills.
