Senior Metrics and Data Analysis - LCS Engineman/Assessments
About the Role
Culmen International is seeking a Senior Metrics and Data Analysis - LCS Engineman/Assessments to support our client onsite in Bahrain.
Candidates should be located in Bahrain.
What You’ll Do in Your New Role- Develop and recommend data sources and metrics to assess readiness, including maintenance and training effectiveness and efficiency; analyze results and provide process improvement recommendations.
- Develop, update, and maintain Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) Availability and Continuous Maintenance Availability (CMAV) trend reports, including analysis and recommendations.
- Coordinate and manage project lead schedules and supporting presentation materials for engineering, damage control, safety, maintenance, readiness events, and material inspections.
- Identify, analyze, and report root causes of CNO Availability extensions, delays, growth, and new work; develop mitigation strategies and supporting metrics.
- Develop and maintain databases to track and report metrics supporting availability analysis, lifecycle maintenance strategy improvements, and readiness optimization, including LCS Freedom Class.
- Conduct training and maintenance assessments and provide guidance on training and maintenance cycles for LCS Freedom Class.
- Apply metrics analysis to support optimal forward‑staged LCS/MCM material levels.
- Retrieve, validate, and integrate readiness and maintenance data from Navy systems into the SURFORWEB Portal to support near real‑time readiness and maintenance visibility.
- Develop and maintain unit‑level culture metrics and reporting tools, including a Culture Dashboard.
- Coordinate with Commander, Naval Regional Maintenance Center (CNRMC), ST1 Metrics, and ST1 Lessons Learned points of contact to leverage existing metrics for improvement initiatives.
- Strong knowledge in Engineering classroom training (MOB
E), Damage Control classroom and practical training (MOB
D),Damage Control Material Assessment (DCMA), Engineering Focused Limited Training Team (LTT), Damage Control Focused LTT,Engineering Critical Program Management, Engineering Non-Critical Program Management, NAVOSH Program Management, Gas Free Engineering, Damage Control Program Management, Engineering Safety Precautions, Maintenance and Material Management(3M), Readiness Events (RE2, RE5, RE6, RE7), and Material Inspections (MI). - 10+ years of experience with development and data sources, and providing metrics for determining the root causes of CNOAvailability extensions.
- Experience in Microsoft Office, especially with Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Secret clearance
- LCS Freedom Class or Afloat Training Command experience preferred.
