This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head of Community based in Manama. The Head of Community will be responsible for fostering an engaged and supportive membership community, leading and managing efforts to develop programs that enhance member experiences, and driving strategic community growth. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing community engagement strategies, organizing networking events, managing mentorship initiatives, and ensuring seamless execution of community development programs.
The candidate will also contribute to building strategic partnerships and scaling the community in alignment with Playbook’s mission of empowering women globally.
- Strong expertise in Community Engagement, Community Development, and fostering meaningful relationships to build and sustain an active network
- Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to connect with diverse individuals, lead by example, and inspire community members
- Demonstrated experience in Program Management, with the ability to design and execute impactful initiatives
- Proven ability to successfully manage a team and provide effective Team Leadership
- Strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills
- A passion for Playbook’s mission of empowering women and supporting equitable opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Experience in community building or managing member-based organizations is highly advantageous
