We are seeking an experienced Senior Equation Core Banking Developer. The ideal candidate has an experience in developing and maintaining applications within the Equation Core Banking ecosystem, with strong technical expertise in RPGLE, CL, SQLRPG, AS400 commands, and integration with external systems.
Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain middleware solutions using IBM Integration technologies.
- Integrate core banking systems with digital channels or external APIs through APIs and messaging platforms.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of middleware components.
- Gather integration requirements with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and maintain microservices architecture.
- Monitor and troubleshoot middleware performance; ensure secure development practices.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for middleware deployment and updates.
- Document integration flows, technical specs, and support procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
- 7-10 years of experience in similar role
- Strong development experience in RPGLE, CL, SQLRPG, designing display files, subfiles, reports, and physical files.
- Strong knowledge of AS400 commands, files, objects, and queries.
- Excellent knowledge of Equation Core Banking: back-end files, data management, EOD cycle, API programming, and user exits.
- Experience with SDLC, change/release management and control.
- Skills in developing interfaces, extracts, reports, and integrating with third-party systems.
- Hands-on experience with designing/developing/implementing solutions on the Equation core banking system.
