Structured Finance Analyst/Associate
We are seeking a highly motivated Analyst/Associate to join our Structured Finance team. The ideal candidate will support the structuring, execution, and monitoring of complex financial transactions across emerging and frontier markets.
Responsibilities/ Authorities
· Assist in structuring bespoke financing solutions including securitizations, project finance, and asset-backed lending transactions. Prepare term sheets, credit memos, and deal documentation in coordination with legal advisors.
· Develop and maintain robust financial models to assess transaction feasibility, returns, risk sensitivities, and stress scenarios.
· Support end-to-end due diligence processes by liaising with legal, technical, tax, and financial advisors. Prepare data rooms and manage information flow with counter parties.
· Conduct market analysis to identify trends, risks, and investment opportunities. Maintain sector databases and contribute to origination efforts through research and pitch materials.
· Assist in pipeline tracking, client presentations, and investment committee materials. Support senior team members in relationship management and business development.
· Support transactions in high-growth markets by understanding local macroeconomic conditions, regulatory environments, and risk frameworks.
· Coordinate with internal risk, compliance, and legal teams during deal review processes and ensure timely response to queries and documentation needs.
· Support post-closing monitoring activities, including data collection, covenant tracking, and reporting on portfolio performance metrics.
· Assist in developing pitch decks, teasers, and transaction snapshots for potential co-lenders, investors, or syndication partners.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, structured finance, project finance, or private credit.
- Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills; proficiency in PowerPoint and Word.
- Previous exposure to private credit, trade finance, or real assets preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in French is mandatory. Understanding of Portuguese is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
