We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer with experience in residential and commercial building design. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical knowledge, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with project teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Prepare and review electrical design drawings and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
- Coordinate closely with design firms for design development or modifications
- Address and respond to comments or inquiries from clients/end users
- Conduct regular site visits to verify installation works and ensure design intent is followed
- Prepare electrical cost estimations and technical reports
- Review electrical materials/equipment and provide recommendations and comments to the project team
- Support the project team in resolving design-related issues throughout the project lifecycle
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from recognized university
- 3–4 years of proven experience in electrical design for residential and commercial buildings
- Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and design tools
- Excellent communication, analytical, and coordination skills
- Ability to perform site inspections and provide technical guidance
