Our newest opportunity is for a talented Interior Design BIM Technician to join our team, based in Bangalore, India.
We envisage success in this role to include;
- Develop, manage, and maintain Interior Design BIM models in line with approved design intent, project requirements, and BIM execution plans.
- Produce accurate interior design drawings, schedules, and 3D models for concept, schematic, detailed design, and construction documentation stages.
- Implement and adhere to Interior Design BIM standards, workflows, and level of development (LOD) requirements.
- Coordinate interior BIM models with architecture, structural, MEP, lighting, and specialist consultant models to ensure seamless integration.
- Carry out interior design BIM validation reviews
, including clash detection, spatial coordination, constructability checks, and visual quality assessments. - Review interior BIM deliverables from sub‑consultants, FF&E suppliers, and specialist interior packages to ensure compliance with project and client standards.
- Ensure accurate representation of interior elements
, including partitions, ceilings, finishes, joinery, lighting, FF&E, signage, and way finding. - Monitor BIM submissions and resubmissions to confirm that interior design review comments are addressed and incorporated.
- Support interior design coordination meetings and BIM workshops with internal teams, clients, and consultants.
- Assist in maintaining interior BIM documentation
, including model audits, coordination logs, clash reports, and issue trackers. - Proactively track interior design BIM deliverables to ensure alignment with project schedules and critical milestones.
- Contribute BIM expertise to enhance design quality, visualization, and constructability of interior design packages.
- Provide regular BIM progress updates for design and project reporting.
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline
. - Minimum 5 years of professional experience as an Interior Design BIM Technician or similar role.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Interiors).
- Working knowledge of Navisworks for coordination and clash detection.
- Strong understanding of Interior Design BIM workflows, standards, and best practices
. - Experience coordinating interior BIM models within multidisciplinary project environments
. - Familiarity with FF&E modeling, schedules, and interior detailing
. - Knowledge of international design standards and client BIM requirements is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem‑solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with global project teams.
