Job Title:Business Analyst
Role Overview
We are seeking a high‑caliber Business Analyst to work directly with the Leadership Team of a newly established hospital in Bahrain. This is a high‑exposure, fast‑paced, and intellectually demanding role suited for individuals with strong analytical capability, executive presence, high levels of confidence, and resilience.
The selected candidate will play a critical entrepreneurial role in supporting strategic planning, operational excellence, financial performance monitoring, and governance frameworks during Amana Healthcare Bahrain’s growth phase. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with 1–3 years of experience, preferably from top‑tier strategy consulting firms, who are looking to transition into a dynamic healthcare leadership environment.
Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Planning & Business Development- Support the Leadership Team in developing and executing the short- and long-term strategy.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new services, specialties, and expansion initiatives.
- Develop structured investment business cases including financial projections, ROI analysis, and risk assessments.
- Build and maintain financial models, budgeting frameworks, and forecasting tools.
- Monitor revenue streams, cost centres, and profitability by service line.
- Develop executive dashboards tracking operational, financial, and clinical KPIs.
- Identify performance gaps and recommend corrective action plans.
- Prepare high-quality board and executive committee presentations, leadership reports, and strategic updates.
- Consolidate departmental inputs into clear, concise executive summaries.
- Support governance processes, decision tracking, and policy documentation.
- Analyze hospital workflows and identify efficiency improvement opportunities.
- Drive cross‑functional strategic projects and monitor execution timelines.
- Support the implementation of SOPs, performance frameworks, and accountability systems.
- Conduct healthcare market research, competitor analysis, and industry benchmarking within Bahrain and the GCC.
- Analyze payor landscape, pricing strategies, and regulatory trends.
- Provide data‑driven insights to support positioning and growth initiatives.
- 1–3 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or performance improvement roles.
- Candidates with prior experience in healthcare consulting (McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Company, or similar) will be highly preferred.
- An entrepreneurial opportunity within a dynamic and evolving environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Healthcare Management, or related field (MBA is an advantage).
- Strong financial modelling and advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
