Transport Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for air and ocean import shipments.

Ensure timely, accurate, and professional service to clients.
• Resolve client concerns promptly and maintain strong client relationships.
• Supervise and support the import team, including coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews of shipment documentation, billing, and service performance.
• Ensure compliance with Customs and international shipping regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments, regional, and global teams to coordinate account activities.
• Monitor financial performance of the department, including reporting and analysis.
• Assist in setting short‑ and long‑term business plans with the Branch Manager.
• Promote a high‑performance and customer‑focused team culture.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in international transportation/logistics, with increasing responsibility.
• Proven experience in supervising teams and managing people.
• Strong knowledge of Customs regulations, clearance processes, and documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment.
• High integrity, accountability, and self‑motivation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and logistics systems.
• Ability to work effectively across departments and global teams.
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and performance tracking is a plus.
