** About the Acute Cardiac Unit
** Become part of our fast-paced, 48-bed
** Acute Cardiac Unit**, where you’ll care for patients during both the critical and recovery phases of cardiac illness.

** Interventional & Diagnostic Cardiology

** Cardiothoracic Surgery

** Emergency, Cath Lab,

** ICU

** Your Role
** As a
** Registered Nurse (Grade
2)
** in our Acute Cardiac Unit, you will:
* Independently and collaboratively assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
* Uphold patient and family privacy, dignity, and confidentiality
* Deliver care aligned with Cabrini’s mission, values, and goals
* Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop tailored care plans
* Demonstrate proficiency in cardiovascular assessment, including
** ECG interpretation
** and
** telemetry
* * monitoring* Recognise and respond to changes in patient condition, making timely clinical decisions
* Implement evidence-based interventions and evaluate patient outcomes
* Provide emotional support and education to patients and families
* Communicate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
* Engage in continuous learning and quality improvement initiatives

* What we're looking for:

*** Current
** AHPRA registration
** as a Registered Nurse
* Minimum
** 2 years’ experience
** in acute cardiac nursing (preferred)
* Postgraduate Certificate in Cardiac Nursing highly regarded
* Strong clinical judgment and commitment to quality care
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-centred service skills
* Alignment with Cabrini’s Mission, Values, and faith-based ethos
