Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Our client, a leading specialist within the modular substation and engineered solutions sector, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join their growing team. £50,000 - £60,000 + Enhanced Pension + Bonus + Health + 33 Days Holiday + Benefits

North Yorkshire - Hybrid Working

• Design LV electrical systems (AC & DC), including cable sizing and system calculations using
  
  Trimble / Amtech
• Conduct lighting designs using DIALux EVO
• Produce electrical schematics with
  
  AutoCAD / Draft Sight
• Design Heating & Ventilation control panels and other control systems
• Plan and develop cable containment layouts
• Design SCADA/BMS integration panels
• Integrate Fire Alarm, Intruder, and HVAC systems into overall solutions
• Produce specifications for earthing and bonding arrangements
• Create detailed documentation for electrical assemblies and subcontracted systems
• Generate technical reports and component specifications
  
  Review designs completed by other engineers
• Provide ongoing technical support to internal stakeholders and external clients

• HNC or Degree in Electrical Engineering
• BS7671:2018 (18th Edition) qualification beneficial
• Experience with in
  
  Building Services, Power Distribution, or Modular Engineering beneficial
• Proficiency in DIALux, Trimble / Amtech,AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of client specifications and regulatory compliance
• Experience in regulated sectors (Energy, Utilities, Rail, Nuclear) advantageous
• Self-motivated, confident, and capable of delivering senior-level engineering decisions

Located in North Yorkshire, this role would be commutable from York, Driffield, Malton, Pickering, Scarborough, Bridlington, and surrounding areas.
