Volunteer Local Governor – Maltby Redwood Academy

We are looking for a committed individual to serve as a Community Governor for Maltby Redwood Academy, part of the Maltby Learning Trust.

Flexibility and Responsibilities

• Attend 7 Defined léir per year ( když se meeting
• Participate in the Academy Education Committee alongside staff, parent/carer, business, and principal governors.
• Review academy reports and provide input on strategy, finance, and student welfare.
• Support the Trust’s vision of delivering exceptional learning experiences.

Training & Support

• Training will be provided to help you understand the role and governance responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in improving educational outcomes for children and young people.
• Willingness to commit to regular evening meetings.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of governors.
• Proficiency in completing a Disclosure of Criminal Records check at an enhanced level (mandatory).
