Our client, a freight forwarder is looking for a General Freight Forwarder to join their office in Maldon.
Responsibilities- Arrange full loads, part loads and groupage shipments
- Liaise with drivers, hauliers, carriers, and warehouses
- Monitor shipments, track deliveries, and resolve delays - proactivity.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide shipment updates
- Maintain accurate transport and billing records
- Familiarity with customs procedures
- Ability to manage multiple shipments under tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Negotiation skills and commercial awareness
