RF Test / Evaluation Engineer - Maldon, Essex (On-site)

We're supporting a well-established semiconductor organisation seeking an RF Test / Evaluation Engineer to join their on‑site engineering team in Maldon, Essex. This is a hands‑on lab role focused on validating RFIC and RF component performance prior to release into manufacturing.

As an RF Test / Evaluation Engineer, you'll be responsible for RF measurement, characterisation and correlation of design data against physical hardware. Working fully on‑site in Maldon, Essex, you'll play a key role in ensuring product quality, performance and compliance across the NPI lifecycle.

• Execute RF measurements and characterisation using VNAs, spectrum analysers and signal generators
• Develop and maintain RF test setups, fixtures and automated test systems
• Analyse measurement data, perform statistical analysis and document results clearly
• Work closely with design, systems and manufacturing teams to feedback test results
• Ensure compliance with RF test standards and calibration requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or similar
• Strong RF fundamentals (S-parameters, impedance matching, gain, noise figure, linearity)
• Hands‑on lab experience with RF test equipment
• Test automation or scripting experience (Python, MATLAB, C/C++, LabVIEW)
• Detail‑driven, methodical and comfortable working in cross‑functional teams

• Circa £45,000 + benefits
