Level Teaching Assistant

Overview

We are currently recruiting for experienced and dedicated High Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) to work across schools in Maldon and the surrounding areas
.

This role is ideal for confident HLTAs who are passionate about supporting learning, leading classroom activities, and making a positive impact on pupils' progress.

• Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
• Support pupils through whole-class teaching, small group work, and 1:1 interventions
• Assist with lesson preparation, assessment, and progress monitoring
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and support teams

• Holds HLTA status or has equivalent experience
• Previous experience working in UK schools
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Flexible, reliable, and proactive approach
• A genuine passion for education and child development
