Northeast Center for Youth & Families, Inc. has a full‑time opening for a Foster Care Case Manager in our Easthampton area office to provide intensive case management to youths. Duties include communication and relationship building with clients and all collateral partners (schools, funding partners, therapists, agencies, foster homes, etc.), setting limits for youth, developing interventions, and establishing goals toward individual successes in conjunction with clients’ guardians, therapists and other providers.
The role requires participation in on‑call services as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services or behavioral science field
- Licensed social worker (LSW), Licensed social worker‑in‑training (LSWA), or license‑eligible
- Familiarity with trauma‑informed care
- Approved CORI & DCF background checks (performed by the EEC)
- Approved driving background check
- Valid driver’s license
- Auto insurance:
Providers must maintain optional bodily injury to others (minimum $100,000 per person / $300,000 per accident) and damage to someone else’s property (minimum $100,000) on the personal vehicle(s) used to transport clients. Proof of coverage must be provided before beginning employment.
