Dietary Aide – Part Time at Dexter House Healthcare

We’re partnering with a dedicated, local healthcare provider to support resident nutrition and food service. As a Dietary Aide, you will assist in preparing, serving, and cleaning meals while ensuring a safe and respectful environment for residents, staff, and families.

• Safe and sanitary handling of food, dishes and equipment
• Prepare resident trays according to instructions/order
• Assist in stocking food storage areas and refrigerators as assigned
• Deliver food, nourishment and supplies as assigned
• Contribute to an environment that is respectful, team-oriented, and responsive to the concerns of co‑workers, residents and families
• Participate in quality improvement activities (QAPI) as requested
• Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive Protected Health Information (HIPAA) at all times
• Demonstrate organizational and critical thinking skills
• Use effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Work independently, solve problems, and make decisions as necessary
• Create a resident‑centered environment
• React decisively and quickly in emergency situations

• Experience in a culinary environment, large volume food preparation and service is preferred
