Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP)

Preschool

(1 Position)

• Valid License as a Speech and Language Pathologist
• Successful teaching experience.
• Experience implementing direct speech services, including articulation, receptive and expressive language needs, and social communication.
• Ability to relate/communicate effectively with teachers, students, parents, and administrators.
• Teachers must commit to being present for each day of the program. See dates below for more info.

• Experience working in the Malden Public Schools.
• SEI Endorsement.

• Plan and implement ESY Curriculum for students on IEP’s.
• Complete planning logs for each session and maintain student attendance records.
• Keep folders/portfolios with student work.
• Perform other related activities as required by the Program Coordinator.
• Develop Progress Reports at the end of the ESY Program.

• Program Administration and Implementation 83 hours total to include the following:
• Professional In-service Days (Date TBD 3 hours).
• 20 days, Monday-Thursday, from July 6–August 6 (8:00 a.m.
  
  - 12:00 p.m.).

Stipend: $40 an hour, $3,320 total (20 days/4 hrs + 1 inservice at 3 hours)
