School Adjustment Counselor
1 Position Total - Preschool
Qualifications (Required)- Valid Massachusetts School Adjustment counselor
- Successful counseling experience.
- Ability to relate / communicate effectively with teachers, students, parents, and administrators.
- SACs must commit to being present for each day of the program. See dates below for more info.
- Experience working in the Malden Public Schools.
- Plan and implement schedules for related services on an IEP.
- Complete planning logs for each session and maintain student attendance records.
- Keep folders/portfolios with student work.
- Perform other related activities as required by the program coordinator.
- Develop Progress Reports at the end of the ESY Program.
- Program Administration and Implementation 83 hours total to include the following:
- Professional In‑service Days (Date TBD 3 hours).
- 20 days, Monday‑Thursday, from July 6 – August 6 (8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.).
$40 an hour, $3,320 total (20 days/4 hrs + 1 in‑service at 3 hours)
