ANNOUNCEMENT OF SUMMER 2026 VACANCIES
COMMONHEALTH PRESCHOOL PARTNERSHIP INITIATIVE
PRE-CHILDHOOD TEACHER
(5 Teacher positions Total)
All positions are contingent upon student enrollment and grant funding for summer programming.
Qualifications (Required)- Valid Massachusetts Teacher Certification in the respective content area of Special Education and/or Early Childhood.
- Successful teaching experience.
- Experience designing and implementing curriculum to preschool aged students with and without disabilities.
- Ability to relate / communicate effectively with teachers, students, parents, and administrators.
- Teachers must commit to being present for each day of the program. See dates below for more info.
- Experience working in Preschool.
- ESL Licensed or SEI Endorsement.
- Participate in two staff development meetings.
- Collaborate with the Grant Director and Program Coordinator to plan and implement Preschool Curriculum.
- Complete planning logs for each session and maintain student attendance records.
- Keep folders/portfolios with student work.
- Perform other related activities as required by the Grant Director.
Program Administration and Implementation to include the following:
- 2 half days for preparation - July 1st and 2nd.
- 20 days, Monday-Friday, from July 6 – July 31 (7:30 a.m.
- 2:30 p.m.).
Stipend: $40 an hour
