ANNOUNCEMENT OF SUMMER 2026 VACANCIES

COMMONHEALTH PRESCHOOL PARTNERSHIP INITIATIVE

PRE-CHILDHOOD TEACHER

(5 Teacher positions Total)

All positions are contingent upon student enrollment and grant funding for summer programming.

• Valid Massachusetts Teacher Certification in the respective content area of Special Education and/or Early Childhood.
• Successful teaching experience.
• Experience designing and implementing curriculum to preschool aged students with and without disabilities.
• Ability to relate / communicate effectively with teachers, students, parents, and administrators.
• Teachers must commit to being present for each day of the program. See dates below for more info.

• Experience working in Preschool.
• ESL Licensed or SEI Endorsement.

• Participate in two staff development meetings.
• Collaborate with the Grant Director and Program Coordinator to plan and implement Preschool Curriculum.
• Complete planning logs for each session and maintain student attendance records.
• Keep folders/portfolios with student work.
• Perform other related activities as required by the Grant Director.

Program Administration and Implementation to include the following:

• 2 half days for preparation - July 1st and 2nd.
• 20 days, Monday-Friday, from July 6 – July 31 (7:30 a.m.
  
  - 2:30 p.m.).

Stipend: $40 an hour
