Title III Summer Enrichment Program

Teachers - Rising Grades 3-8

(7 Positions Total)

EL Summer Enrichment Program Dates: July 6
- July 30, 2026 {NO Fridays}

Time: 8:30am-12:30pm {FREE breakfast & lunch}

• Valid Massachusetts teacher certification and SEI endorsement
• Willingness to implement WIDA Standards Statements
• Ability to relate /communicate effectively with teachers, students, parents, and administrators
• Monitor student safety on school premises and on school related field trips.

• Administer and score pre/post tests and write anecdotal evaluations.
• Participate in two staff development meetings.
• Implement standards-based lessons using WIDA 2020 Standards and MA Curriculum Frameworks
• Complete planning logs for each session and maintain student attendance records.
• Perform other related activities as required.

Program Administration and Implementation 90 hours total to include the following:

• Professional Planning Days tentatively June 25 & 26 (5 hours each day). Planning can happen asynchronously however at least 1 hour must be spent in person preparing the summer school classroom
• 20 days, Monday-Thursday, from July 6 – July 30 (8:30 a.m.
  
  - 12:30 p.m.)

Stipend: $40 an hour, $3,600.00 total

Funding Source: Title III Grant
