Civil Engineer​/Contract Administrator

AXS Access Management Pty Ltd is a leading WA scaffolding firm specializing in Hire, Labour, Design, and Fabrication. We are seeking a Civil Engineer to take on a key role in Contract Administration and technical Estimating.

This position manages the commercial and technical aspects of our projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare technical bids for supply, erection, and dismantle.
• Perform drawing take‑offs and estimating from structural/civil plans.
• Let and administer sub‑contracts and project budgets.
• Act as a technical point of contact for clients, site managers, and engineers.
• Conduct site visits to provide accurate, engineered access solutions.

• A Degree in Civil Engineering is essential.
• Ability to analyse structural loads to ensure scaffolding designs integrate safely with host structures.
• Advanced ability to read and interpret complex Architectural, Structural, and Civil engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards (AS/NZS) related to structural integrity and site safety.
• Ability to produce professional engineering correspondence and clear project documentation.

• Intermediate to advanced in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Direct experience with AutoCAD and specialised construction estimating software is an advantage.
• Highly organised with a meticulous eye for detail and technical accuracy. Proven ability to prioritise tasks and deliver high‑quality outputs under strict tender and project deadlines.
• Good communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between various stakeholders.

Training in stock control software, estimating and company procedure and policy will be provided.
