Reporting Analyst

The Reporting Analyst is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and decision-ready reporting across financial and operational performance. This role sits at the intersection of Finance, Operations, and Technology, ensuring leadership has clear visibility into revenue, cost, margin, and productivity drivers.

This individual will own the production, automation, and continuous improvement of management reporting, including KPI dashboards, recurring executive packages, and ad-hoc analytical requests. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, private-equity-backed environment where data credibility and speed matter.

Key Responsibilities

Management & Financial Reporting:

• Produce recurring weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting packages for Executive Leadership, FP&A, and Operations
• Maintain core KPI dashboards across revenue, margin, volumes, labor, utilization, churn, and client performance
• Reconcile and validate data across financial systems, operational platforms, and data warehouses
• Support budget, forecast, and long-range planning cycles by supplying clean, auditable reporting

Data & Analytics:

• Translate business questions into structured analyses and clear reporting outputs
• Identify trends, variances, and anomalies in performance and proactively flag risks and opportunities
• Partner with FP&A and operating leaders to define new metrics and improve insight quality
• Build and maintain scalable data models to support self-service analytics
• Reduce manual reporting through automation, scripting, and BI tools
• Improve data integrity through validation rules, controls, and documentation
• Own definitions, logic, and data lineage for key metrics

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Analytics, Information Systems, Data Analytics or related field
• 3–5+ years of experience in reporting, FP&A, business intelligence, or analytics
• Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, Power Pivot and Excel Data Model)
• Strong experience with BI and reporting tools (Power BI experience required) including developing data structure and dashboard reporting from scratch
• Experience working with large datasets from multiple source systems
• High attention to detail with the ability to reconcile and validate financial and operational data

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in private-equity-backed, high-growth, or services-based companies
• SQL or other query language experience
• Experience with Net Suite Accounting Information System and Reporting
• Experience with Reporting Tool and ERP implementations
• Exposure to revenue cycle, healthcare, SaaS, or transaction-based businesses
• FP&A or Finance background – understanding of financial statements and profitability analysis
