CAD Drafter (Residential) - Maitland, FL
Contract-to-Hire, full-time hours
Compensation: $21-$28/hr. (flexible based on experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, business hours
About the Company:
Our client is an award-winning Residential Design and Architectural firm in the Orlando area. They are growing at a rapid pace and searching for career-minded drafting professionals to join their team. Currently, seeking drafters with previous/current residential design and CAD drafting experience.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting of residential Architectural plans using computer aided design programs (AutoCAD or Revit)
- Communicating with internal and external clients
- Maintaining project records
- Producing full construction documents in a production environment
- Performing project administration with the assistance of your team leaders.
- 1+ years of experience with AutoCAD, preferably in the most up-to-date versions within Residential Design (Revit experience a plus!)
- Must have knowledge of FL residential codes (Hurricane, etc.).
- Some knowledge of common Florida Building Codes and construction practices
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in residential design and documentation
- Experience working on full construction documents
- Team player with a great attitude
