Winslow Public Schools Bus Driver

As a Winslow Public Schools Bus Driver you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of the students you transport. You will be there at the start of the students’ day with before‑school pickup and at the end with an afternoon shift to bring students safely back home.

• A split shift, which means an early morning before‑school pickup and an after‑school drop‑off with a few free hours in between
• A guaranteed shift of 4 hours per school day
• Additional hours gained through trips when available

• $26.58 hour starting wage

• Are looking for a part‑time schedule
• Enjoy working with students
• Are at least 21 years old
• Have a valid driver’s license to operate a school bus

• Clean Criminal History (CHRC Background check will be required)
• Good Driving Record
• Current CDL license with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsement
• Must have a positive attitude and enjoy working with awesome kids!

We will provide the training to obtain a CDL with the P and S endorsements (or the P and S endorsements if one already has a CDL).

In the state of Maine, all technician and driving positions, including but not limited to van drivers and any other position requiring employees to drive a company‑owned vehicle, are considered safety‑sensitive and are therefore subject to drug and alcohol testing, including cannabis.
