Overview

Tex Tech Industries in North Monmouth is hiring. We are looking for candidates who want to be part of a growing and evolving leading global manufacturing facility. Currently hiring for a Maintenance Mechanic to keep our manufacturing facility running at peak efficiency in a 24/7 manufacturing facility.

• Proven skills in mechanics, millwright, carpentry, plumbing, welding, and fabrication.
• Repair, maintenance and installation of production equipment, plant services equipment, buildings and other plant facilities.
• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by preventive maintenance.
• Ability to understand and follow operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions and troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

• Must have or be willing to obtain a Maine State High Pressure Boiler License (Tex Tech will pay for the process and once completed will receive a pay increase).
• Ability to work independently, possess strong mechanical and carpentry knowledge as well as general knowledge of preventive maintenance, light plumbing, electrical, HVAC and unit turnover work.
• Must have basic hand tools, be able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders up to 20 feet and work in tight spaces.
• Experience with computers is a plus.

  Mechanical or preventive maintenance: 1 year (Preferred).
