Wiscasset Ford is looking for a skilled and motivated Ford-Certified Service Technician to join our growing service team! This role is perfect for someone with a solid automotive repair background who takes pride in precision and efficiency. - Perform high-quality repairs and maintenance as outlined on repair orders, following dealership and manufacturer standards
- Use advanced diagnostic tools and testing equipment to troubleshoot and repair vehicles efficiently
- Test-drive and inspect systems including engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC
- Communicate clearly with Service Advisors about repair needs, timelines, and recommendations for additional work
- Complete warranty repairs accurately and on time
- Maintain an organized, safe, and professional workspace
- 2+ years of hands-on experience as an Automotive Service Technician (Ford experience highly preferred)
- Ford or ASE Certifications are a strong plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficient with diagnostic systems, repair software, and service documentation
- Excellent mechanical and troubleshooting ability
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with great communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to doing the job right the first time
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
