Automotive Service Technician

Wiscasset Ford is looking for a skilled and motivated Ford-Certified Service Technician to join our growing service team! • Perform high-quality repairs and maintenance as outlined on repair orders, following dealership and manufacturer standards
• Use advanced diagnostic tools and testing equipment to troubleshoot and repair vehicles efficiently
• Test-drive and inspect systems including engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC
• Communicate clearly with Service Advisors about repair needs, timelines, and recommendations for additional work
• Complete warranty repairs accurately and on time
• Maintain an organized, safe, and professional workspace

• 2+ years of hands-on experience as an Automotive Service Technician (Ford experience highly preferred)
• Ford or ASE Certifications are a strong plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Proficient with diagnostic systems, repair software, and service documentation
• Excellent mechanical and troubleshooting ability
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with great communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to doing the job right the first time
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
