* Promote and maintain a safe working environment.

* Maintain and optimize electrical systems to ensure equipment efficiency.

* Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.

* Troubleshoot electrical motors, VFDs and Soft Starts and PLC systems.

* Install and commission electrical components (motor starters, conduit runs and Motor Control Centers).

* Understanding Ethernet communication and wiring standards.

* Respond promptly to maintenance requests from operations.

* Education Required:

Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology or an equivalent apprenticeship

* Years of

Experience Preferred:

* 2-5 years of industrial maintenance experience

* Familiarity with PLCs and VFDs is an asset

* Willingness to work a rotating shift, including weekends with the opportunity of a fixed day or night shift

* Previous sawmill experience is considered an asset

* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
