* Ensure that all electrical systems are maintained in good working order in an effort to maximize the efficiency of mill equipment

* Installing, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining electrical motors, scanners, drives, and PLC's on equipment used in the sawmill process

* Responding to requests from both the Production Supervisors and the Maintenance Supervisors

* Committing to and always promoting the use of safe practices

* Education Preferred:
Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology or an equivalent apprenticeship

* Including Military Occupation Courses, experience, or apprenticeships

* Years of Experience

Required:

* 2-5 years of experience in maintenance in an industrial environment

* Strong troubleshooting abilities with electrical controls, power distribution (high and low voltage), programmable logic controllers and variable frequency drives is essential

* Ability to work a rotating shift

* Previous sawmill experience is considered an asset

* Ability to work independently or part of a team is a must
