What You Will Do- Perform medical, security, firefighting, hazardous material and other protective services duties to ensure a safe working environment for employees.
- Enforce all prescribed company policies and procedures.
- Maintain site security at all times, with firm knowledge of the facility and surrounding property.
- Respond to emergencies and assess the need for additional resources, using basic knowledge of Communications Center operations and the ACE program.
- Conduct day-to-day operations with little to no assistance.
- Write reports describing all violations, irregularities or complaints noted.
- Acquire and maintain internal Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) licensure and an EMR certificate.
- Communicate in English (read, write, speak, understand).
- May train for and maintain additional certifications to enhance skills.
- Perform other protective services-related duties as assigned.
Shift hours are Tuesday through Friday, 10 PM to 8 AM (four 10‑hour days).
What You Will LearnSkills, systems, and processes critical to aerospace manufacturing within a state‑of‑the‑art facility, alongside training and advancement opportunities at all levels.
Qualifications You Must Have- High School or GED
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- 1 year of related experience, or a completed degree/certificate from a post‑secondary or vocational school in a related field with 0–1 + years related experience
- Maine Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) Certification or higher, or ability to obtain within 180 days of hire
- Firefighter Level I certification or higher
- Experience handling hazardous materials
- Technical rescue experience
- 1–2 years Communications/Dispatch experience
- 1–2 years security‑related experience
- Maine Criminal Justice full‑time police academy, reserve academy, or basic corrections academy
- Proficiency in regulations of the National Industrial Security Program Manual and Export Control
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
