GONETSPEED is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to join our team.
$5,000 Signing-Performance Bonus for achieving targets in first 120 days!
Base Salary: $35,000 plus uncapped commission
Total Target Compensation: $70,000-$125,000
The Outside Sales Representative is perfect for professionals who enjoy meeting new people and have a desire to help their clients save money by “un-bundling” their expensive cable, internet, and phone bills. This position is door-to-door canvassing and contacting new customers daily (50+ knocks) as our fiber optics service expands into new areas.
Core Responsibilities- Engage and acquire new customers and close sales opportunities through door-to-door sales.
- Identify and target potential customers within designated towns/cities; develop rapport to understand their needs and preferences.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of product features, benefits, pricing, and campaigns versus competition.
- Evaluate individual customers’ existing and potential product needs and make recommendations.
- Meet or exceed individual quotas.
- Represent the company at community events in targeted markets.
- Experience in direct sales, preferably door-to-door, is nice to have but not necessary.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Ability to work outside in any weather; available 10 AM–7 PM, 40 hours per week.
- Results‑driven, self‑motivated, able to work independently; excellent attendance.
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle; mileage allowance provided.
- Familiarity with the telecoms or broadband industry and competitive landscape is a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Eager to learn all our products and services.
- Always represent oneself and the company professionally and ethically.
- Strong in‑person communication skills for face‑to‑face cold selling.
- Organize and prioritize multiple assignments and manage projects effectively.
- Make sound decisions using available information.
- Read computer screens and reports (75‑100%).
- Hear well enough to communicate with employees and contacts (75‑100%).
- Write, type, and use phone system (75‑100%).
- Frequent standing, walking, and stair climbing (75‑100%).
- Occasional stooping and kneeling (25‑49%).
