Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Quality Technician in support of the Supplier Quality Team at North Berwick Aero Systems.
Responsibilities- Collect and compile COPQ data to drive Continuous Improvement initiatives throughout the supply base.
- Support disposition of nonconforming supplier material by coordinating with Material Review Board (MRB) members and Supplier Quality Engineering.
- Execute quality escape management processes, support root cause analysis, and recommend corrective/preventive actions for supplier produced material.
- Support cross functional Problem Resolution Team (PRTs) for escape investigations.
- Support Quality Clinic certifications, including maintenance of all Clinic Metrics.
- Maintain CORE discipline and certification.
- Train new employees working with ASQR-01 & AS9100.
- Perform Global Trade Jurisdiction and Classification activities.
- Skills, systems, and processes critical to aerospace manufacturing within a state of the art facility.

- High School or General Equivalency Diploma.
- 10+ years of Quality experience (or related experience) or 7+ years with completed technical certificate/post-secondary degree (in related field).
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
- 10+ years of experience training and coaching new employees.
- Prior experience performing Global Trade classifications, supporting Export Compliance Regulations.
- Possess excellent blueprint and specification interpretation skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of CORE/Root Cause tools and proficiency in driving robust, systemic RCCA.
- Results-focused work ethic to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Working proficiency in SAP is preferred. Knowledge of non-conforming material management processes.
- Familiarity with the 8D investigation process.
- Experience with ASQR-01 & AS9100.
