Supplier Quality Engineer

The Supplier Quality Engineer oversees the supply chain of goods and services and are responsible for making sure that quality and delivery standards are met while ensuring there is proper communication between all parties involved. This position reports to the Director of Quality at one of two locations.

• Ensure the approved supplier list is up to date for packaging, raw material, and service suppliers.
• Verify Vendor’s ISO Certificates, Quality Documents, technical data sheets and compile data.
• Responsible for supplier questionnaires, quality agreements, classification and performance monitoring, vendor complaints and change notifications.
• Responsible for the execution of vendor audits.
• Responsible for the audit planning, execution, preparation of audit reports and closure of audit.
• Manages the vendor non-conformance and complaint handling process, follow-up, and resolution.
• Lead the vendor change notification process.

• Knowledge and understanding of ISO 13485
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other programs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Bachelor’s degree (Engineering preferred) or equivalent work experience.
• Exposure to manufacturing and quality environment.
• Experience in quality or auditing preferred.
