Maine Health Behavioral Health is recruiting for a Psychiatric Mental Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatric Physician Associate/Physician Assistant (PPA) to work in our Life Span position at Spring Harbor Hospital. This is a unique role in the hospital with the opportunity to care for the Life span of Mental Health care. The position provides care on all units within Spring Harbor, a standalone 100‑bed acute care psychiatric hospital that serves as both an academic center and the tertiary mental health hospital in the Maine Health system.

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, weekend call 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM.

• Graduate of PA/PMHNP program. For PMHNP must have the ability to treat the life span.
• Current and valid license by the Maine Licensing body and appropriate associated board certifications.
• Current DEA registration.
• Meets credentialing criteria defined in Medical Staff By‑Laws and associated entities.
• Preferred: 2 years’ experience of acute psychiatric patient care.
