Support patient-centered care as a skilled Registered Nurse in a pivotal Charge Nurse role at a well-established rehabilitation center. This contract position, located in Hampden, ME, offers an opportunity to lead nursing teams while directly impacting resident well-being through comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage total nursing care for assigned residents during shifts.
- Serve as a leadership support, assisting the Director of Nursing and providing administrative backup as needed.
- Foster patient and family education and engagement with compassion and professionalism.
- Uphold privacy, confidentiality, and ethical standards in all aspects of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain quality and safety.
- Participate actively in quality management initiatives.
Experience:
- Current RN license in Maine or compact state licensure.
- Minimum of 3 years nursing experience, demonstrating clinical proficiency.
- Associate Degree in Nursing or higher.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills.

Additional Contract Details:
