OR RN in Perry, ME

Location: Perry

This position offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care in a critical access hospital setting. The role involves functioning in the Operating Room as a scrub nurse, circulating nurse, and in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) for phase 1 recovery. Specialties include general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, podiatry, OB-GYN, pain management, urology, and endoscopy. The nurse will deliver safe, effective, and quality patient- and family-centered care throughout the perioperative period, maintaining clear communication with the perioperative team and upholding confidentiality and organizational values.

A call requirement includes a 45-minute arrival time.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Experience in critical access hospital operating rooms preferred
• Proficient in circulating, scrubbing, and post-anesthesia care (Phase 1 PACU)
• Familiarity with surgical specialties such as general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, podiatry, OB-GYN, pain management, urology, and endoscopy
• Ability to communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• High degree of confidentiality and professionalism
• CNOR certification preferred but not mandatory
