Travel Nurse Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,330 - $2,500

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (option to extend)

Rockport, Maine– Maine nursing jobs

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 4 days/week (rotating day off)

• Total

Hours:

36 hours/week

• Call Requirements: 1 weeknight call per week (4:30 PM – 7:00 AM) and 1 weekend call (48 hours) every 6 weeks

• Scrubs:
Provided by the operating room
Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Minimum 1 year recent experience in an Operating Room (OR RN) setting

• Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Ability to fulfill required on-call shifts

• Travel nursing experience preferred (not required)
Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate perioperative nursing care to surgical patients

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes

• Prepare the operating room, ensuring all equipment and supplies are ready

• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgical procedures

• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies and procedures

• Participate in scheduled on-call shifts as required
