We at McCrum have an immediate opening for a full-time Maintenance Technician in our Washburn, Maine potato processing facility.

• Troubleshoot & Repair:
  Diagnose and resolve mechanical and on complex food processing machinery and industrial processes.
• Systems Maintenance:
  Service and troubleshoot industrial components, including HVAC, pneumatic systems, valves, pumps, bearings, gearboxes, and other specialized potato processing equipment.
• Preventative Maintenance:
  Perform scheduled inspections and testing of mechanical systems. Follow a preventive maintenance system with scheduled and non-scheduled work orders.
• Communication:
  Communicate with leadership to voice safety or equipment concerns. Meet with the previous and next shifts daily to ensure a smooth transition between shifts.
• Safety First:
  Strictly adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.

• Technical Expertise:
  Experience with industrial processes and the ability to interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
• Physical Stamina:
  Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended shifts and lift up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced production environment.
• Availability:
  Comfort working the 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM schedule.
