Schedule: Full-Time/Rotating: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Monday - Friday.
Payrate: $27.52/hr. base pay + $1.00/hr. night shift differential.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dependable Strapper/Grader to join a fast-paced, team-oriented production facility. Great opportunity for individuals with mechanical aptitude who enjoy active, hands-on work and want to grow their skills in an industrial setting. This temp-to-hire opening will offer work during peak production periods; employees that demonstrate dependability, aptitude, and a cooperative, team-friendly mindset may have the opportunity to transition into a permanent, full-time position.
The Strapper/Grader will operate machinery to package, secure, and sort products according to quality and production standards. Employee will monitor equipment, make routine adjustments, and ensure products are accurately graded and prepared for shipment. This role includes maintaining a clean and safe work area, recording production data, and supporting other areas of the production line during high-volume periods. Ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to learn complex equipment quickly.
Responsibilities- Operate strapping machines to secure pallets or bundles of product for shipment.
- Use grading equipment to sort products according to size, weight, or quality standards.
- Inspect products visually or with equipment to ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Load and unload products from conveyors or trucks as needed.
- Monitor production lines to identify jams, errors, or malfunctions and make minor adjustments.
- Perform basic machine setup, calibration, and troubleshooting as needed.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, including removing waste materials.
- Follow all safety and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Record production data, including counts, quality metrics, or equipment issues.
- Assist co-workers or other production areas during peak workloads as needed.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn complex equipment.
- 1-2 years of equipment operation experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow safety rules, procedures, and production instructions.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work rotating 12‑hour shifts.
