1st Shift Foam Production Technician – Days (5:30 AM – 5:30 PM). Join Mölnlycke, a medical device manufacturer in Wiscasset, ME, that designs, manufactures, and supplies medical solutions worldwide. We are looking for people who are passionate about helping others and work well in a team‑based environment.
What We Offer- Entry‑level position with comprehensive, on‑the‑job paid training
- Work schedule:
- 3 on 4 off, 4 on 3 off, rotating schedule
- 5:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Workdays and hours may vary depending on operational needs; occasional overtime and weekend work may be required
- $21.12 an hour to start
- $2.00 shift differential between 5:30 PM – 5:30 AM

Perform quality control testing and inspection on foam products, record data in a computerized database, operate machinery on a production line used to manufacture hydrophilic polyurethane foams, and package finished goods. Continually improve workflow and production output of the foam line through constant monitoring and analysis of manufacturing processes. Work with a team to achieve maximum quality and quantity of foam manufactured safely and efficiently.
WhatYou’ll Need
- Pre‑employment physical, background check, and at least 2 professional references required
- Proven success working in a team‑based environment and the ability to meet performance measures with minimal direct supervision and guidance
- Ability to make well‑reasoned decisions both independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication and organization skills
- Basic mechanical, mathematical, and computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
- Ability to work overtime to ensure production goals are met
- Over 75% of the workdays are spent walking or standing
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Regular handling, lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, reaching, and grasping
- Close vision and color vision are required
- Ability to wear a respirator
- Experience in production, manufacturing or related environment preferred, but not required
