This is a 2nd Shift Opportunity:
Monday‑Thursday, 4:00 pm – 2:00 am (4–10 hour shifts). The position is designed for individuals with little or no machining or grinding background.

Responsibilities include:

• Attend a 3‑week training program and 4–8 weeks of on‑the‑job training.
• Set up and operate NC milling/grinding machines, vertical turret lathes or VTCs to perform routine production operations.
• Work from operation sheets, part travelers, BOROPS, and oral instruction for grinding, turning, facing, boring, and chamfering of limited surfaces.
• Verify conformance of finished work to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
• Obtain operator certification to accept/reject parts.
• Maintain machines by performing required total preventive maintenance (TPM).
• Collaborate with engineers, quality assurance, programmers and other production personnel to resolve machining problems and assist in part process development.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.

• High School or GED.

• 1+ year of manufacturing, automotive or related trade experience.
• Ability to make computations involving decimals and fractions.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
