What You Will DoThis is a 2nd Shift Opportunity:
Monday‑Thursday, 4:00 pm – 2:00 am (4–10 hour shifts). The position is designed for individuals with little or no machining or grinding background.
Responsibilities include:
- Attend a 3‑week training program and 4–8 weeks of on‑the‑job training.
- Set up and operate NC milling/grinding machines, vertical turret lathes or VTCs to perform routine production operations.
- Work from operation sheets, part travelers, BOROPS, and oral instruction for grinding, turning, facing, boring, and chamfering of limited surfaces.
- Verify conformance of finished work to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
- Obtain operator certification to accept/reject parts.
- Maintain machines by performing required total preventive maintenance (TPM).
- Collaborate with engineers, quality assurance, programmers and other production personnel to resolve machining problems and assist in part process development.
- Read, write, speak and understand English.
- Skills, systems and processes critical to aerospace manufacturing within a state‑of‑the‑art facility.

- High School or GED.
- 1+ year of manufacturing, automotive or related trade experience.
- Ability to make computations involving decimals and fractions.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
