DescriptionThis position is a full time 8 hours, 260 day custodial position working nights. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning a section of the High School designated to them and also during basketball season to help clean the gymnasium after games. Custodial duties include, but are not limited to: general cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, floor care, moving furniture, etc. Hours for this position are: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM for 175 nights and 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM for 85 days (summers, school vacation weeks, and storm days).
You may also be required to drive a bus route occasionally.
- CDL B license with S endorsement - will train the right candidate (they have 6 months to obtain license if they don’t already have)
- Ability to perform custodial duties
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Criminal History Records Check / fingerprinting approval
- Preemployment physical and drug testing are required
- Knowledge of custodial duties and maintenance is a plus, but not necessary
- Completed RSU #73 Bus Driver / Custodian Application
- Current resume
- State CHRC (fingerprinting) certification
- Three current letters of recommendation, including contact information
