Human Resources Intern
Position OverviewThe Human Resources Intern will provide administrative and project support to the HR and Operations teams while gaining hands‑on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This internship offers exposure to payroll processes, recruiting coordination, HR systems, compliance documentation, and employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, safety-focused, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced industrial setting.
Job Responsibilities- Support HR team with data entry and maintenance of employee records in HR systems (e.g., ADP, SAP).
- Assist with scheduling interviews, meetings, training sessions, and onboarding activities.
- Help prepare onboarding packets and support new hire orientation processes.
- Provide administrative support for payroll processing and timekeeping audits.
- Organize and maintain confidential HR files in compliance with company standards.
- Assist in tracking training completion and maintaining training records.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, safety programs, and internal communications.
- Compile reports and assist with HR metrics and compliance documentation.
- Demonstrate safety as a core value by following all workplace safety policies.
- Perform other HR‑related projects and administrative tasks as assigned.
- Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Interest in HR within a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
- HR operations within a large manufacturing facility.
- Payroll and HRIS systems (ADP, SAP).
- Recruiting and onboarding processes.
- Compliance and documentation management.
- Workplace safety culture in an industrial environment.
- Cross‑functional collaboration between HR and Operations.
