Human Resources Intern

Position Overview

The Human Resources Intern will provide administrative and project support to the HR and Operations teams while gaining hands‑on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This internship offers exposure to payroll processes, recruiting coordination, HR systems, compliance documentation, and employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, safety-focused, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced industrial setting.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support HR team with data entry and maintenance of employee records in HR systems (e.g., ADP, SAP).
  • Assist with scheduling interviews, meetings, training sessions, and onboarding activities.
  • Help prepare onboarding packets and support new hire orientation processes.
  • Provide administrative support for payroll processing and timekeeping audits.
  • Organize and maintain confidential HR files in compliance with company standards.
  • Assist in tracking training completion and maintaining training records.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, safety programs, and internal communications.
  • Compile reports and assist with HR metrics and compliance documentation.
  • Demonstrate safety as a core value by following all workplace safety policies.
  • Perform other HR‑related projects and administrative tasks as assigned.
Required Experience
  • Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Interest in HR within a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
