The JobAs the Pool Assistant Manager of Food & Beverage at the Bellagio
, you’ll play a key role in overseeing food and beverage operations across our resort pool experience. Set within our beautifully renovated, Italian-inspired pool courtyard, this is a dynamic environment where great service, seamless operations, and memorable moments come together under the sun. You’ll support daily operations, lead and motivate the team, and help ensure an exceptional guest experience at every touchpoint—from casual poolside bites and refreshing cocktails to attentive, personalized service.
With a welcoming presence and strong operational mindset, you’ll anticipate guest needs, solve in-the-moment challenges, and create WOW experiences that guests carry with them long after their stay.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Review daily schedules and manage time off and vacation requests, coach and train on policies, procedures, and performance
- Supervise cashiers to ensure correct policies and procedures for check handling and closing are maintained by service staff as well as manage activities; means of access and egress, to ensure complete compliance with Health Department and Fire Marshall Regulations
- Directly communicate with the Chef on all food service and menu issues
- Assist in seasonal menu changes and holiday menu changes
- Order supplies through the IP System and Purchasing
- Exercise cost controls for all aspects of restaurant operation
- Manage pricing and maintenance issues to ensure checks can be processed correctly
- Direct communication with guests for special requests and large party reservations
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of prior relevant experience in a similar dining environment
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
