Overview
Occupational Therapy Assistants are responsible for treating patients with therapeutic and self-care activities. The job requires candidates to perform a variety of duties including the following:
Monitoring a patients' progress to make sure that they're successfully completing treatment.

- An Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in a nursing home works with the Occupational Therapist to provide personalized care for patients with mental, physical, emotional or developmental impairments.
- Plan, organize, and follow Physical Therapist goals to work towards maximizing independence with all functional activites with all patients.
- Ensure effective communication with the therapy team to work towards all patients' goals and plan of treatment
- Position Qualifications and
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Occapational Therapist Assistant Program. - Licensed OTA in state assigned.
