The Phlebotomist I (Traveler) / Patient Services Representative (PSR) represents the face of the organization, providing high-quality patient interactions while performing blood specimen collection and processing. This role requires strong phlebotomy skills, attention to confidentiality, and flexibility to support multiple locations as business needs dictate.

• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
• Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established practices.
• Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties with confidence and accuracy.
• Verify patient demographic information, initials, and signatures post-venipuncture to confirm correct labeling.
• Maintain required records and documentation in compliance with established procedures.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment for patients and staff.
• Promote a positive organizational image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors with a focus on process excellence and patient-centered care.
• Travel to and support Patient Service Centers and in-office locations as required.
• Participate in training at various locations based on trainer availability.

• Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
• Commitment to company policies and procedures, including dress code, employee health & safety, and guiding principles.
• Ability to make decisions using established procedures and sound judgment.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record (if applicable).
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt quickly to change.
• Demonstrated superior customer focus and strong communication skills.
