Job Title

CRMA-Medication Technician at Benchmark Senior Living, Bay Square at Yarmouth.

About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate Certified Medication Technician to deliver care in a warm, home‑like environment. Pay: $21.50–$22.75 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate questions, concerns, and/or discrepancies related to medication administration to the Resident Care Director (RCD).
  • Communicate any significant change of mental or physical status of resident to RCD.
  • Document supervision of self‑administration in MAR.
  • Document / notify RCD of administration of PRN meds.
  • Responsible for documentation on PRN meds and affect.
  • Recognize and assist in the prevention of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
Requirements
  • Must have a state Medication Technician license and demonstrate competency per state‑approved protocol.
  • Successfully complete medication technician competency review (supervised by RN/RCD) quarterly.
  • CPR certification required or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
  • Complete a state‑approved training course in drug administration and receive a certificate of satisfactory completion.
  • Medication technicians will be evaluated on competency by the RCD each quarter.
  • Must have current certification as a nursing assistant or have successfully completed the certified home health aide or homemaker/personal care homemaker training program.
  • High School education preferred.
